Hyatt Ahmedabad

I'm from the USA so please take this with a grain of salt. Hotel is very nice, very safe, and well-run. There is a very nice mall 20 meters from the front door of the hotel which is nice for some walking/browsing in an A/C environment. You'd think you were in a US mall. The Hyatt staff is awesome. The breakfast buffet is really nice with so many choices. Ajeet was our server each morning (and at night during dinner) and was the highlight of our experience. He's awesome! The bed in my room was really hard which is why I gave the 4 star rating for Rooms. This is probably just a personal preference but it wasn't comfortable at all. The other aspects of the room were really great (bathroom, toilet, shower, water pressure, desk, space, A/C, etc.). I'll be coming back here for sure!

I had high expectations given the brand name of hyatt, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. 1. The room assigned to us was extremely small’it practically ended the moment I stepped in. I'm not sure if all rooms are this compact or if we were just given the smallest one. Perhaps our casual attire played a role in the allocation? 2. The slippers provided were downright dangerous! Both of us slipped once, as they have absolutely no grip and become hazardous upon the slightest contact with water. If the hotel cannot provide a decent pair, it's better not to offer any at all. 3. The flashlight in the closet had strands of hair from a previous guest’completely unhygienic and unacceptable. It was revolting. 4. I requested a thermometer, but was told there wasn’t one available. It's shocking that a 5-star hotel lacks basic medical essentials or even an emergency doctor on call. 5. The pillows were worn out’flat, lifeless, and seemingly. I’ve had better pillows in 3-star hotels. 6. The bathroom door didn’t seal properly, causing water to spread across the floor while showering. Overall, a deeply disappointing stay. I would neither return nor recommend this hotel. If you’re looking for a better experience, I suggest booking Taj Skyline instead.

The location of this hotel is really a sweet spot if you need access to the main city and SG highway. In addition to that multiple restaurants at the premise and alpha one mall next door was convenience. Good service and good rooms!

Rooms are too small, size of our home Bathroom! Limited items in morning complimentary breakfast. Service is better but can be improved. In India, i have never seen such small rooms. Hyatt Regency near Ashram Road is better but old property

What an experience. Extraordinarily crafted superb buffet and heart touching service. After a long time, I saw a place that goes beyond all means to create customer delight. Don't miss the Sunday brunch.
