La Franklin Hotel

We had reserved an executive room, but it was comparable to a deluxe or super deluxe room. The interior, bed, bathroom, and everything inside the room were excellent. The hotel is located in a great area, surrounded by lush greenery, and offers good value for the price. The service and facilities were outstanding. However, they could improve the restaurant; the taste of the food wasn't great, with the vegetables and sambhar being on the sweeter side. Also, make sure to confirm with the hotel before booking if you prefer a king-size bed or twin beds, as there are more twin-bed rooms available than king-size ones. If you have a child, it's best to ask in advance.

1. Outside food was not allowed and restaurant foods were not good at taste even seats were torn. 2. The bathroom shower throttle for hot and cold water was not working properly. The speed and the temperature of the shower was unpredictable and wasging by itself, which was very annoying 3. The ground staff (Gate watch keeper, House keeper, cleaning staff) behaviour was very good as compared to reception staff. 4. As I was on a family trip, I asked for an additional room key but they straightway declined. 5. As a 3 star hotel not value for money.

This is a decent hotel for a few nights stay. I would not say it is a luxurious place but have got all the basic comfort that one can expect. The location is great and the best part is that it is nested in a cover of green, with trees all around. Overall a comfortable stay.

We booked this hotel for 2 days during our Bhubaneswar visit. The hotel looks premium. 1. The food we had for our breakfast and the room service was really good, both in quantity and quality. 2. The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. They helped our driver to navigate to the hotel, helped with some printouts at 10 pm in the night etc. 3. The rooms are also neatly maintained. I would definitely recommend booking this with the complimentary breakfast as it has a wide variety of dishes available.

Location of the hotel is on Highway which is a bit internal to the main road also the Single Bed rooms are limited they gave me 2 bed room due to non availability for 2 days. Room Size is satisfactory, Food is average overall ’’
