James Hotel Chandigarh

Stayed for over a week here - was lovely. Great staff (very professional and warm), great management, quality cuisine of both international and local styles, with a great buffet. Very safe, great value, and close to nice parks. Well kitted out gym facilities (more than normal hotel style), and a nice area by the pool to relax. Flawless, fast internet for all your devices. The staff really make this place, they've chosen really great people. Exceeded my expectations by miles.

Me & my wife stayed here for two nights. It was a pleasant stay. Staff is very polite and friendly. Special shout outs to the front desk clerk Sofia. Breakfast was delicious. Furniture is a bit outdated. Bathroom amenities can be a bit more generous and versatile, was not upto the mark. Overall 4 star.

Wish I could have the option of giving 10 stars. Fantastic ambiance, wonderful staff and the rooms. Take at least two days stay and enjoy. Take your family for sure. I have seen the staff at dining with best of their patience in front of fully confused customers. So full marks and respect for the staff. Just one suggestion for providing a checklist to housekeeping so that they can keep all the kits in place well in advance.

The exterior and lobby looks appealing. The rooms gives you a feel of a business hotel. Rooms are not very spacious and lots of space was occupied for creating work space inside room. As we were family travelling it was of no use to us. They didn't care to check that and offer a room. We stayed just for a night and had to leave early in the morning so can't comment on the service part. The swimming pool was nice and well maintained but there was no staff available around. We wasted about half an hour to get someone to assist us. Overall a good stay if you're looking at something near to the airport and sightseeing places like rock garden.

Was at James for an overnight stay in a superior room on a business trip. Seamless check in and check out. Courteous staff. Above average washrooms. Local toiletries are provided and some basic necessities like bathrobe, cotton pads and earbud kit was missing. All food served during room service and breakfast was cold. Was well prepared though and tasted fine. Breakfast attendant did offer to get the food straight from kitchen upon receiving the feedback.
