Check in was ok. Room has nice bathroom, good sized flat screen TV, reasonable size room. Some noise at night coming from the front of the hotel. Internet connection was good. Overall it was fine. Breakfast buffet was good. The bar was very good and the restaurant was pretty average. Nimmi Thampyestaurant was pretty average. Nimmi Thampy

One important thing was that staff were very cooperative. Room was comfortable. Hotel is located in the city itself. I was on an official trip, I had a very good experience.

We were given very small rooms, the window's were very small. Hotel has maintained the clealiness very well. Overall our stay was comfortable. -

Unfortunately I only had an over night stay at this excellent hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient. We ate in the Indian restaurant where the food was delicious. The hotel is spotless. The rooms comfortable and spacious. It was a shame I couldn't stay longer to make use of the excellent looking amenities

The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of the city's prime business and shopping area, making it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The architecture and interiors of the hotel are sophisticated and elegant, reflecting the dynamic spirit of Chandigarh. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. The facilities at the hotel, including the fitness center, pool, and lounge, were top-notch and added to the overall comfort of my stay. The ambiance was serene and luxurious, providing a perfect retreat after a busy day. However, I am deducting one star because the food did not quite meet my expectations. While the variety was decent, the taste and quality could have been better. Given the high standards of the Taj brand, I was hoping for a more memorable culinary experience. Despite this minor setback, I would highly recommend Taj Hotel, Sector 17, Chandigarh, for its excellent service, prime location, and luxurious accommodations.

Property’s location is the best, food and service is also amazing BUT the room is so outdated it feels as if it’s 2005, they haven’t upgraded from outdated 32 inch televisions. Make sure you keep the curtains open at all times because if you have to look at the colours of the curtain you might go blind. Washroom is also from the 90’s, it’s high time you guys change because it’s spooling Taj’s name. In the same price and vicinity you can get Hyatt Centric which is 100 times better.

We had a splendid time at Taj Chandigarh. The staff were superb, incredibly attentive. I cannot fault our stay. 5 stars to Adi who took care of the house keeping for us Everyone had a smile on their faces. Food was tasty and made with great care. We will back.

The hotel is situated beautifully, with the sector 17 shopping area on one side and the Rose Garden on the other. However the rooms are a bit cramped and the windows are tiny - maybe a good thing in the summer, but I miss the winter Sun streaming in. The pool is great but the gym is quite cramped.
