Stayed in Bison valley rooms... Scenic view from the room was very romantic... Its a Natural property... Heaven for Nature lovers.. Peace, calm.. Chirping sound of Birds awesome... Helpfull staff... Tea plantation walk and tour was excellent and memorable...food was very tasty ’’’’

A very beautiful place to stay. A bit far from the town, so carry things whatever is required as travelling at night can be bit tricky. Food is very basic, but it's worth for the price you pay and it's tasty. This homestay is in between a big tea estate, so you can spot Bisons. Hence, it's also called as Bison Valley. All the staffs were very welcoming. To have a relaxed and peaceful time, this place is highly recommended.

Booked Madwa rooms. It was a decent stay. At night some animals make noise. Scenic view is good. Caretaker is very friendly. The food was authentic south indian and tastes great. The room was clean and well maintained. Away from the rush of city enjoyed a great weekend.

It’s away from all of the usual tourist spots of Ooty town, but a must visit place to disconnect and enjoy nature at it’s best. Homely food is another great point to add!

Absolutely peaceful is the place for Devashola Homestay We chose 2 among the 6 row rooms ( Bison Valley) rooms. These rooms have the best view compared to all others but amenities are very basic compared to their other rooms The place has really really stunning views. Been to Nilgiris many times but honestly, the view from their Bison Valley rooms cannot beat any other Food is fully home made and so very minimal options, that too only vegetarian. Nothing fancy. Repeat, nothing fancy and you can’t get anything near by at all Rooms (Row rooms) are very very basic too but the highlight is the view. All the 6 rooms have a common front yard where we can just stroll and relax Indoor activities are only carroms Still a 5 star for its view. Ashwin, Naveen and Selva are indeed great hosts.
