Rustling River Homestay

Rooms are wonderful and beautiful place and views are mesmerizing, we had a pleasant stay but the only problem is we didn't get any access to the kitchen and there is only one hotel in Selas village.

It was a very nice place to stay, very silent and calm , I was able to see Bison on the opposite mountain . Home food available here. Very nice place to sit and relax, fully covered with CCTV , car parking available. The resort is located on the road ,so no need to worry about travelling into an unknown/ off road. It is like a resort cum home.

Hidden in the hills of Coonoor, a little off the main road, our stay at Rustling was nothing short of amazing. The mornings are simply mind-blowing as the sun rises and the sunlight stretches across the tea valley, accentuated by the chirping of the words and in the background, the sound of the water stream flowing at the bottom of the hill, is simply a transformation from busy city concrete life to the lap of nature. The whole experience was exhilarating for the family.

PROS: 1. Awesome views 2. Very calm place 3. Very good Rooms with attach hall and big corridor 4. Big bathroom 5. Good kitchen with humble staff .. food are very tasty 6.supportive owners who always answer and ready to help 7. River sound will remove your all stress 8. Morning first sunlight will wake up you 9. Camp fire with music 10. Big area for kids to play List is too long .. loved this place Cons: If anyone is really defective in mind then he can find some cons. I could not find any cons. Place is like heaven.

We came here a group of 17 including 3 families. Old man and lady behaved rudely with bad words for asking hot water and tea at 7. We already sent the menu and nothing is provided on time. Quantity is very less. They didn’t treat us properly. It is a good location only if they change the people here all like to visit. If persons coming for other reasons like lodge, they love it because the people isn’t asking or providing anything on time. Ruthless behaviour.Including 1.5 years baby bathed in a cold chill water. Even till 8 they didn’t provide us warm water. When we asked old man behaved very badly and women who cooks also spoke without any respect. Owner isn’t considering anything as the reviews aren’t taken very seriously. If you aren’t questioning about food or housekeeping this is a good place to stay if you ask about the taste of food they will start arguing with us and show their attitude.We didn’t expect a 5 star hotel service but atleast a basic respect and hospitality.
