Jain Group Hotel Pink Mountain

We stayed here for 3 nights nd experienced was mixed.. positive points are - location is good.. they have lift and interior of the hotel is beautiful.. food was pocket friendly and quality was also good.. but I didn’t like the room.. room was shabby and dark.. there was hygiene issue.. big hair-stands were everywhere on my bedsheets..after complaining they have changed the bedsheets.. pillow cover was also not clean.. and they have limited hot water timing.

Staying at Jan Group Pink Mountain Hotel in Darjeeling was a complete nightmare. ’ No hot water after 10 PM’only available after 6 AM. In a cold place like Darjeeling, this is beyond ridiculous. ’ No room heater available’we asked for one, and they gave us the pathetic excuse that all were ’sold out.’ ’ Room telephone didn’t work, so we couldn’t even contact reception for help. ’ Drinking water wasn’t available at night’they simply didn’t care. ’ No exhaust fan in the bathroom, making it suffocating and uncomfortable. ’ Filthy, unhygienic pillow covers’completely unacceptable. This hotel is a total disaster. If you care about basic necessities and hygiene, STAY AWAY. We had an absolutely miserable experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Zero stars if I could!

Great hotel with really good vegetarian and jain food available. The service is also great and location is great, it is 5 mins walk from Mall Road. The terrace has great view of the Kanchenjunga ranges.

First time stayed in this hotel for our Darjeeling trip thanks to the recommendation of a relative and the overall experience was outstanding. Location wise it is 2 mins walking from Clock Tower and no uphill walk at all. Therefore, it was very much helpful for my parents. Also, they have elevators in the hotel which was a very big help if you are travelling with old family members. All the staffs from the hotel including the restaurant services were polite and helpful and took so much care of us during the stay. We probably got the best rooms in 5th floor so literally can see the whole Kanchanjangha range from room window. Even if you do not that side of the room, just go to the roof which is open all day and night and you can literally see the whole mountain range with proper sitting arrangement around. The hotel restaurant serves vegeterian dishes but they allow outside food to the hotel rooms too. Overall it was an outstanding experience and will visit again next time. Thank you all.

Good stay experience at reasonable rates. Restaurant had decent options of Jain food. Blower Heater was provided upon request at a cost. Hot water had fixed timings. Mall road is very nearby and all tourist sites are at an approximate 30 mins distance by car. We booked through Hemsang travels.
