Le Grand Hotel

90 year old Citizen had to sit on a wall mounted Commode in Room No.107. It should have been floor mounted one. TV size in Room No.105 was very small.

Rooms: Not clean properly, specialy i found some dust particles on my bed and Food : I stay here for two days; food quality is very good Service of staff is excellent I don't like cheaked in time 2:00 pm, i arrived early morning so i can't get my room before 2 pm .. Allover experience is good

If you are going to Visit Haridwar and in doubt which property you should choose then I am going to make it easy for all. This hotel is located in Vivek Vihar and road is wide your vehicle can enter and park inside the property. You can use Auto to visit Har ki Pauri and you must enjoy morning breakfast with Matra Kulcha, Moong ki dal and Khasta kachori which is very close to this hotel. Just come out in the morning and enjoy these breakfast choices. Staff is cooperative.

I recently stayed at Hotel Le Grand in Haridwar and wanted to share my experience. Overall, it was a decent stay with a few notable points. Location: The hotel's central location in Haridwar is commendable. Major attractions like Har Ki Pauri, the bus stand, the railway station, and other places are conveniently within 3-4 km, making it a 10-15 minute commute. Dining Options: The hotel's proximity to popular food chains like Burger King and Domino's adds convenience. However, the hotel's food is average and lacks the fancy touch. Amenities: The hotel provides secure parking, and the staff is friendly. Room service is prompt, and the rooms are spacious and as promised. Clean bathrooms with a solar heater for hot water are positive features, although the absence of a geyser is a drawback. Service Experience: While the staff was accommodating and fulfilled requests promptly, there was a need for repeated calls for minor things like extra glasses. Despite this, the staff was courteous and willingly met all requests. Pricing: The only downside was the pricing, especially during peak weekends. Although I found it on the higher side, the overall deal was reasonable for a standard stay. In summary, Hotel Le Grand offers a decent stay with a central location, good amenities, and friendly staff. However, improvements in food quality and addressing the need for frequent room service calls would enhance the overall experience. Consider this hotel for a comfortable stay in Haridwar, keeping in mind the pricing variations.

In full agreement to another review I found-"Would be apt to say the hotel is managed by thieves, ready to hunt your purse via undue means of excess charge. Most unprofessional behaviour by the GM who claims to be working there since past 24 years. God knows how many people would have been a victim of unprofessional, unruly, and cheap behaviour of the management." Please dont book this property if you want to enjoy your visit to Haridwar. I left my paid booking in this place and stayed somewhere else because of hotel receptionist and GM's behaviour. God bless these thieves who are very happy to take money from other people for no reason.
