Umaid Mahal - A Heritage Style Boutique Hotel

We stayed in this amazing hotel. Not only did we feel like a king and queen the food was delicious. The roof top restaurant has a tandoori oven and made the best chicken mixed grill and Rajasthan Thali for a great price. The waiters Ganesh and Norden went the extra mile for us and gave us exceptional service. The staff are all helpful and we even tried the Ayverdic massage they recommended which was great. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

I recently stayed at Umaid Mahal, and my experience was quite underwhelming. While the property has its charm, certain aspects left me disappointed. First, the room assigned to us was much smaller than expected and did not match the pictures shown during booking. The cramped space and tiny washroom made the stay less comfortable. Additionally, the washroom exhaust wasn’t functioning, which was inconvenient. On a positive note, the food was amazing, and most of the staff were courteous and helpful, though a few interactions fell short of expectations. One peculiar aspect was the placement of 3-4 photographs featuring groups of 20-30 people inside the room. This seemed unnecessary and somewhat out of place inside a room. Overall, for the price paid, the experience was average at best. Due to the mismatch in expectations and room quality, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Pleasure to stay at this hotel recently for 5 night stay. Spacious room , comfortable beds , the best shower facilities I have ever had . Grand place very lavish surroundings. Breakfast varied. Management and staff extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Jaipur. I real pleasure to stay here more than any hotel I have ever stayed in. Thankyou for special memory of my time in Jaipur.

I had high expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately, it was far from worth the price. The lack of room service for breakfast was disappointing, and even a simple cappuccino, which I ordered twice (once over the phone and once at the reception), never arrived. The most alarming incident was someone randomly barging into our room, completely compromising our privacy and making us feel unsafe. Despite the poor service, we were denied a refund for one of the days we chose to stay under protest. Adding to the discomfort, the view from our room was of the parking lot. It was noisy in the morning with cars leaving, and the constant sound of kids running around outside made it impossible to relax. Overall, this stay was a letdown, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable or stress-free experience.

Beautiful property in heritage haveli style. Service and staff is excellent and cater to all your needs. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated + neat and clean. Food is delicious and has a good variety options in breakfast buffet. Every evening hotel have a puppet and singing show, which is a delight to witness. Definitely recommend this place.
