Elephant Valley

Beautiful views, serene atmosphere, rustic yet luxurious accommodation in the midst of forest\wildlife and a very sweet & helpful staff make this resort a place I will definitely keep returning to. You need to be adventurous and carefree to enjoy what this place offers, being in the midst of the forest it understandbly comes with it's cons like leeches, bugs, presence of threatening wildlife at night, power outages, ect... Not recommended for those that prefer the spoilings of city life and urban luxury resorts.

Beware, this place is recommended by the Lonely planet 2022 edition (which is why we booked it). Staff is friendly and nice. Restaurant has good indian food but food is only available at set times which is also the case for the hot water. The rooms and place overall is nothing like portrayed on the website or in the LP, google photos. Apparently this is a COVID-19 problem. We booked 3 nights and left after one. Place is poorly maintained, there are leeches in the bathroom and our hut was leaking during a rainstorm. the outside garden listed on the website is non existent. For 70’ per night it is not at all worth it.

It's a beautiful property in an 100acre farm. Beautiful done with all the amenities. It's almost 8 kms away from the nearest town which is why commuting is a little problem. But others if you are looking for a quite, wild and beautiful place then go for it :)

We booked three rooms and we wanted it close by to each other , inspite of availability they gave one room which was far from the main rooms and the pathway to the room was without lights , now here comes the main experience once we entered the first floor of the room and we felt too much negative vibes as if someone else was around with us we ran back to the reception asking them to give us a room which is close by to the main property they said it’s not available when it’s very clear that the rooms are available and they suggested us to take the ground floor room and promised to be a call away , after much hesitation we enter the ground floor room and be in the room for 20 mins we experience all kind of negative vibrations in the room and we literally had to run felt the place is haunted , and we slept in the car for 2 hours still the ppl at the resort didn’t give us room in the front side close to other rooms after much requesting they give us room at midnight 2am till then they played around with us , when the rooms are available we don’t know why they didn’t give us rooms together for a group but the place is definately haunted . Book at your own risk guys this is my second review first review was taken away . I stayed here 2 years back .

Highly recommend this space to those looking for peaceful and relaxing holiday. Mr. Senthil indra(manager) and his team are the best. He will guide you and make you comfortable. This is our second time visiting this space. We had a wonderful time. Exceptionally fresh and tasty food!
