Hilltop Tower

I recently stayed at Hilltop Hotel in Kodaikanal, and while there are some positives, there are also areas for improvement. First, the location is quite convenient. The hotel is centrally located in the city, with several sightseeing spots just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel staff is also very responsive and friendly, which added to the overall pleasant experience. However, there were a few downsides. The parking area is congested, which made it a bit difficult when arriving and departing. The room itself was comfortable, but the bathroom was quite small. As a 6-foot-tall person, I found it challenging to move around comfortably in the bathroom. Additionally, there’s a time restriction on hot water, which could be inconvenient for guests who need it at odd hours. Another important thing to note is that there is no lift in the hotel, and our room was on the second floor. This might be an issue for those who have trouble with stairs. The free vegetarian breakfast was decent and served in a buffet system, which was nice, though non-vegetarian options were not available. In summary, while the hotel has a great location and excellent staff, the lack of an elevator, small bathrooms, and limited parking space might be problematic for some guests. --- This review captures both the positive and negative aspects of your stay.

Great location. Coaker’s walk and Bryant Park are at a walking distance from the hotel location. Rooms are clean, warm drinking water is available. Hot water for shower is also available at fixed timings. Food is great!

Satisfied.. Room spacious well maintained. Clean... All staffs are friendly.. Good service.. . Not very expensive.. It is worthy compared with the money we paid. Breakfast provided. Very tasty food. We enjoyed the stay.

Hotel and the service was good, Breakfast is compliment here , My name is Sivakumar, I have checked in at 12th July 2024 Friday 10AM and checked out at 14th July Sunday 9AM, they gave 2nd floor room No:203 which is clean and good. The issue started at Saturday night where some group of guys checked in nearby room 202 and other room in the same floor, knocking the door at midnight, ringing the bell , even by mistake also not one time , we heard them tried to unlock our door at night, we were in when i got up and opened the door, a guy just ran in to his room and closed the door , we felt unsafe as a couple . And the next day Sunday before checking out before 9AM also a guy unlocked the door halfway and tried to see inside when i approached the door , he just ran fast. As we are packing things and hurry in checking out, we didn't complain to the hotel management. My sincere request to the management is please check what happened on Saturday night and Sunday morning as you have the camera's placed in the floor , Its really unsafe for a family or couples as some group of guys can book in this hotel and make disturbances to others. What if something else would have happened , We were safe as just we locked the door from inside that's what we felt till now.

Good rooms. Nice staff. Enjoyed the stay there. It was a convinient location.
