Hotel Rifaya

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Rifaya as it's very close to the centre. There are 2 routes to reach the hotel, one is shorter from kodaikanal taxi /bus stand which can be reached via steps by walk and longer route through the market road- poppys. On a Sunday the market road is some times closed during the day due to Sunday market. The owners of the hotel were very welcoming and that made the stay really good. There is 24 hour hot water and restaurant at the hotel will be open during peak season of Apr onwards. The WiFi signal and speed really good in rooms. There is balcony for views and chilling.

Our recent stay at Hotel Rifaya in Kodaikanal was absolutely delightful! The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our entire experience smooth and enjoyable.

There is no restaurant, and the surrounding area has plenty of dining options. It's a good choice for families and solo travelers looking for a cozy place to stay. Overall, a pleasant stay with good value for money. Pros: - Provided hot water 24*7 - Small Tv - Extra bed with minimum cost for extra adult occupant Cons: - Don't use a steep path which is near by hotel, use another way which is go in straight.

The outside look and reception will be quite good but when you enter in to the rooms you can't stay there. High pricings. Rooms are not clean. Worst hotel.

We booked the room via WhatsApp and Yassin Moulana from Hotel Rifaya informed that the google map location is not correct and shared another location and ask us to reach there and call him. We call him 30 min prior to arrival and he didn't respond the call. It's super terrible and finally found another hotel in the middle of night (1AM). Better to avoid this hotel.
