Hotel SV International

The phone number given was of their Cochin office and hotel number was not known. When we arrived in Munnar tried calling the number and no one was picking up. Phones were not working in Munnar Hotel also. It was very dark and we were scared till we somehow reached the hotel. The fan in the room was making noise and we could not sleep both nights. It was not attended to by the staff. I have given the above feedback to the Reception and hope they will take care in future. Other wise definitely a nice place to stay although 8 kilometers away form Munnar! Staff was very friendly.

Cleanliness: Only on complaining the Manager called the staff to clean the rooms and toilets. Lot of dust on the wooden tiles and bed sheets stinking. Not to discuss about bath room/toilet. Staff: Unfriendly and lot of delay in service Hot water: Limited from 7:30-9:30 (literally 8-9) Phones don't work and the Hotel is listed as a two star while the receptionist in the Hotel categorically denied that it is a star Hotel. Food: Average Cost: Very expensive for the facilities provided. Strongly recommend not to go for this.

We went earlier than their check in time. We were in hurry to refresh & they arranged temporary room for two hours to fulfill our requirement. We never get this type of hospitality any where.

The worst experience I would say. We have expected a lot by seeing the pictures from the website. The accessibility is poor, service is poor, rooms are pathetic. You wont believe the balcony top is partially broken and rain water completely spoiled it and it was stinking. No hot water. And also room service is very limited. Worst experience ever.

We had a pleasant stay at SV International. The room was excellent with serene picture outside.. It would be good if they provide hot water through out as the climate is damn cold.
