One of the best hotels I have stayed. It’s bang on the lake and closer to major tourist attractions. Hospitality was too good and they took good care of us. Will definitely recommend. Take the room with the balcony to get the lake view. It was such a nice experience.

Rooms, service and location, all are very good. But, the most important thing in hospitality business is Service and they actually provide very good service. Visited in the month of September 2024. Weather was good and hotel location was amazing. Steam bath and jacuzzi were also fine. However, few things like pool/snooker and air hockey etc. should be complimentary as it doesn't involve much recurring cost and Jacuzzi tub needs replacement as it feels dirty.

One of the best places to stay. The staff are excellent, the warmest hotel staff we ever came across. Just like family. Always with a pleasant smile. Food, location and everything is on point. Would like to visit here again

I've been here on earlier trips, to have a drink and some food before I leave Kodai. On my earlier visits, the staff have been very courteous. Usually I leave my luggage in their lobby (after scanning and tagging it with their consent of course) and roam around the town area before I depart for a bus. This time when I requested the same, I was met with a weird response from their duty manager Simran. Now she could have just said it's hotel policy, we can't keep your luggage. Instead, she chose to tell us "the hotel is full of guests" and "if one of you stay back the luggage can be here". I was with my husband, we're tourists, why would one stay back and one go for a walk? All we requested was for the luggage to remain there for an hour and we would come back to get it. The hotel may have been full, but guests take their stuff to their own rooms right? Our one suitcase wasn't eating into their space or disturbing anyone. Places like this are EXPECTED to accommodate such simple requests from tourists. We were patrons, we went there to eat and drink. We didn't just barge in requesting this for free. Although, their bar is decent and has good staff. I wish the same could be said about the hotel management team. Thumbs DOWN for hospitality.

I usually have a couple of drinks at the bar, at the end of my frequent kodai trips and leave my luggage to take a walk around the lake. But to my surprise, this time they couldn't keep my luggage (one suitcase and a laptop bag) and the reason they cited was 'the hotel is full.' Now if it was the hotel policy I wouldn't mind and the luggage goes through a scanner anyway. I've experienced better hospitality at a random McDonald's in Thailand. I saw another review mentioning that the staff are racist, which makes me wonder if they said no because I walked in instead of arriving in a car, which is what I usually do. Either way, I wouldn't really recommend it. The waiters and bar staff are good. Food is mid or below average at most. The location is great. The higher level staff definitely need to understand that hospitality is multifaceted. Please read other reviews before booking. I would definitely recommend the GRT property over this. They know hospitality very well.
