Horseland Hotel And Mountain Spa

We had worst experience with the hotel. We had stayed at the hotel during this Diwali season. The images that they had shared v/s the hotel was completely different. The rooms were ok but the washroom was very unhygienic. When we asked them to clean they were not ready to do so. There’s no hot water facility full day. They say we provide it only in the mornings. I won’t recommend this hotel if you’re travelling with your kids. The food was equally bad. They had 10 items but could least expect one thing to be taste worthy. The bedsheets had holes and the towels felt like not had been washed properly. Overall too bad.

Worst experience. Very old property. Away from station n market. All these acceptable, But very bad staff. You have never seen the staff like this. You will get room with all meals. But when you sit in dining hall in these days you will not get buffet. Limited menu. It's Ok. But staff in these days, off season will keep food for themselves only. You will get stuff once only if you ask again they will never serve you. You are on the table but staff enjoy meals at their table. Rude manager Rude receptionist. No alarm to call for room service. I think staff has been changed. Earlier people got good service. Owner please check the behavior of staff and maintain your popularity.

Go to this resort only if you want to have Non Vegetarian Food in Matheran. The food is very good at this hotel. Yashwant, the catering in charge gives very good service, looks after every guest well and goes above and beyond to feed you whatever you like, especially in breakfast. But the rooms are awful. The washrooms are even worse. They are in very poor condition and need urgent renovations. The passages and outdoor places leak of water all over. The room we got on the first day room no. 208, had bed bugs, and we had to vacate the room immediately. I wouldn't recommend anyone this place for a comfortable stay. Go there only for good food.

When we reached we can see the property was too old, but well maintained. They provide good buffet service and test of food was awesome. And Calligraphy from Yogesh is good. Food 5/5 Cleanness 5/4 Ambience 5/5
