Great place and amazing view! More than anything if you stay in the location then you have access to allot more things at a walkable distance which really brings your experience to an elevated standard. The building is a bit old school for sure but that's part of the charm.

I recently stayed at Sea Green South Hotel and had a terrible experience from booking to check-out. The only good thing about this property is its prime location right in front of Marine Drive, but everything else was a huge disappointment.
Booking & Check-in Experience:
I originally wanted to book the Queen’s Necklace Suite for my family of four, as it’s spacious enough. However, the hotel rudely denied my request and forced me to book two separate rooms, which was inconvenient and unnecessary.
The reception staff was extremely unhelpful and unprofessional-when I requested to cancel one of the rooms and shift to the suite, they bluntly refused, showing no courtesy or willingness to help.
Room & Amenities:
Check-in was a mess! Both rooms were not ready until 2:00 PM, which is the official check-in time.
The Queen’s Necklace Suite was not worth it at all-it had no towels, no tea-making kit, a leaking bathroom tap, and no doormat. The bathroom was attached to another room, and excessive noise from the neighboring room made the stay uncomfortable.
Had to request basic amenities from housekeeping, which should have already been provided!
Breakfast Experience:
Extremely limited and disappointing! Breakfast included only one piece of toast, an omelet or poha, and tea/coffee-far below standard for a hotel in this location.
Pros & Cons:
’ Pros:
’ Great location-right in front of Marine Drive.
’ Cons:
Queen’s Necklace Suite is not worth booking-avoid it! Instead, book a Double Room Sea View if you must stay here.
Pathetic amenities-lack of towels, tea kits, and basic necessities.
Rude reception staff-unhelpful, unprofessional, and inflexible.
Bathrooms were not clean and poorly maintained-leaking taps and noise issues.
Breakfast was substandard-bare minimum, not worth paying for.
Ratings Breakdown:
’ Service: ’ (1/5) - Unhelpful & rude reception staff
’ Cleanliness: ’’ (2/5) - Bathrooms not clean, overall poor maintenance
’ Amenities: ’ (1/5) - Lack of essentials, broken fixtures
’ Food: ’’ (2/5) - Limited & disappointing breakfast
’ Staff Behavior: ’ (1/5) - Rude & unwilling to help
’’ Final Verdict: Do NOT stay at Sea Green South Hotel unless you only care about location. The poor service, rude staff, lack of amenities, and unclean bathrooms make it a terrible choice. There are much better hotels nearby-avoid this one!

Room is very good. I was staying here during Oct'24 for 2 days in a superior category room.
Pros: Good big room at this price on Marine drive. Nice balcony. Room amenities are well & sufficiently given. Breakfast is also good.
Cons: Two beds are provided each of which is not up to the size for a full length person. Bed size may be 2 X 6 ft which is insufficient to me for sleeping. This was not expected from a reputed hotel like this.

See Garden is a serene and picturesque destination, ideal for nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil escape from bustling city life. Known for its lush greenery, colorful blooms, and well-maintained landscapes, the garden offers a refreshing retreat that appeals to visitors of all ages.
The garden’s design seamlessly blends nature with aesthetics. Walking paths wind through vibrant flowerbeds, tall trees, and charming water features, making it a perfect spot for leisurely strolls or peaceful contemplation. Seasonal flowers in full bloom create a riot of colors, and the aroma of fresh blossoms adds to the sensory delight. The garden also features dedicated seating areas where visitors can relax and soak in the beauty of their surroundings.
For families, See Garden is an excellent choice, as it offers ample space for children to play while adults enjoy the calming ambiance. Couples and photographers often frequent the garden for its romantic and visually appealing settings. Additionally, the garden hosts occasional events such as flower shows, cultural programs, and nature workshops, further enhancing its appeal.
Despite its many attractions, the garden can get crowded during weekends or public holidays, which slightly diminishes its otherwise tranquil atmosphere. Maintenance is generally commendable, though some areas may need occasional upkeep. Entry fees are reasonable, making it an affordable outing for most visitors.
Overall, See Garden stands out as a delightful spot to unwind, connect with nature, and create memorable experiences. Its beauty, accessibility, and peaceful vibe make it a must-visit for anyone looking to escape the chaos of daily life, if only for a few hours.
