It was a pleasant stay.

Before I begin to write a review on Rockland Hotel, it won������t be fare if I don������t acknowledge the impeccable customer service and value for money. With no stipulations in my mind, I say that they have been one of the most preeminent customer friendly service providers I have ever come across. Well you must be wondering how that is so, the sequence goes like this. Me and my cousin were traveling from my home town to Delhi on 18th noon , I booked our stay for a day at Rockland Hotel , near Nehru Place via Travelguru in a hurry. No sooner I received my hotel booking mail, I realized that I had booked hotel for 26th rather than 18th, not only this I had by mistake mentioned one adult instead of two. I immediately called Travelguru customer service executives and informed about the same, requested them to help me with this, as we were about to reach Delhi and there will be no place for us to stay. They tried their level best to call to hotel, get back to us , inform the hotel staff , got our reservations reissued , they called back us 10 to 15 times and kept us updating . Finally they could get the booking adapted for 18th rather than 26th. We were really impressed with their loyalty to customer as there had been no terms and conditions which mentioned or compelled them to reschedule our booking, with our genuine concern the service center staff took a step forward and helped us. I thank Travelguru team for a fantastic customer service. Now as you know the background let me take you for a virtual tour at the place where I stayed. Location: The hotel is located at Nehru Place; since it������s on the road side and can easily be identified even if you are new to that area. To reach their you can very conveniently come till Nehru place by metro, and from there take an auto which will charge not more than Rs.30 , as it isn������t much far from it. Hotel Ambience: Wonderful interiors, the very moment you enter the reception, you can feel the magnificent ambience and a humble staff waiting to help you out. In fact before reaching, we had called the hotel staff quite a few times regarding our apprehensions and concerns about our booking, they indeed were very nice to us,all the time and gave appropriate suggestions. Room service was really nice too. Facilities provided at room: The first look, when we stepped inside our room was awesome. Neat and tidy, with all the facilities at your service. A flat screen TV, mini bar, Snacks, AC , everything was exactly like what they has mentioned in their site. I was very much impressed, when I looked at the bathroom, it was neat and sanitized . The shower and personal care stuffs (soap, shampoo, moisturizer) was of superior quality and felt satisfied , indeed it was no doubt full value for money you have on your stay there. Food: We had a breakfast at the dining hall, it was excellent. They will provide you buffy , which has all the cousins you can think off , south Indian , north Indian , continental , fruits , juices , tea coffee and adding on to it a very humble staff to help you out at any time . All in all it was a fantastic experience for me to be a customer to Travelguru as well as Rockland Hotel. With this review I recommend both Travelguru and Rockland if you are planning to visit Delhi. The room I was offered doesn't deserve to be called as a deluxe room. After a long 9 hr flight from London when I landed on this hotel I expected a comfortable stay as I was travelling with a 7 month old baby. The room was very dirty. There were packets of Rajnigandha and other empty sachets of tobacco products lying under the table next to the bed. There was no cross ventilation which made the room really suffocating. The bathroom was very dirty. Shower was bit rusty and the floor was also not clean. Dinner was served much later than the promised time and it was served on steel utensil which was not looking very clean.TV and wifi was not working earlier. Later after complain they managed to rectify it. Room service was good. Won������t be staying at this hotel again.
