Daiwik Hotels

We went here to have dinner. It was during the rushy hour hence the waiting time of around 15 min there. We ordered one pasta and fresh juice and chocolate milk shake. They also had a buffet worth rs 620 per head. As this was a veg restaurant they included all the variety of veg food in the buffet and is worth the price.

The rooms & stay is not worth more than ’4k (including taxes) per night. Rooms & bathroom are very very small, cockroach in room, bathroom had sewage smell, bathroom fixtures broken, extremely dirty shower curtains. They charge 7k per night for 2 people and do not even provide toiletries, linens to be sufficient for 2 people. When we flagged that there are cockroach in the room, a different room was given only when we insisted on it. The new room wasn't even checked for cleanliness before allocating it to us - broken fixtures, sewage smell in bathroom, dirty curtains. Only when we flagged the issues next day, they offered to change the room at 10pm very well knowing we were tired after a whole day out. The staff almost got into a fight when asked for another pair of room slipper stating it is chargeable. (The hotel provides only 1 pair for 2 people booking). The manager waived 1 time dinner bill only after I created some noise around the room quality..but even then the total price paid after this waiver isn't justified. Breakfast - is average. It was good on day 1 & bad on the next day. Only the food ordered in ?? la carte was really good. The restaurant staff were all very good.

I came with a family at Daiwik and it was an awesome experience. Everything is good about this hotel I.e. staff, service, rooms and hospitality. Was very much impressed by all the young staff members so polite and decent. Fascinated by looking at all the girls specially Rachana so simple and caring. Will definitely come again at Daiwik...highly recommended ’’

Good experience overall. Its a 3 star hotel with warm service at reception and restaurants. Rooms are very clean and nice. Since the hotel is a little old, some things in room show wear and tear (i believe they are renovating already). Food is great at the hotel. We also got a foot spa during out stay which was very relaxing too. Over all a good stay

I stayed in Daiwik for one night with my family and booked 2 rooms. But had below average experience. Cons: Property is bit old and averagely maintained. Ordered lunch but one of the item vegetable curry was stinking. They were unable to provide us the towel till 3 pm. Totally not worth for the price they are charging. Pros: As most of the people are going for Dharshan, it’s good that they are having Pure-Veg restaurant. Note: We hardly have much decent options in Rameshwara for stay. So they are taking advantage of it. If you are booking there don’t expect a lot. It’s just a 2-3 star hotel charging on much higher side. If you are getting it at decent price go with it or else try to book other options.
