Sawai Madhopur Lodge - IHCL SeleQtions

We had a fantastic time at Sawai Madhopur Lodge. We were lucky that we were upgraded to one of their newer rooms. The room was beautiful and spacious. The property was incredibly welcoming and accommodating of us, especially of our toddler son. The food was fantastic and we found options that worked well for our whole family. All of the staff was exceptional, particularly Ajay, who made our stay much more enjoyable. We hope to be back in the future!

Sawai Madhopur Lodge Is a great pet friendly property which is a prerequisite for us for most trips. When we entered, the security guards made sure that our visit to even just check out the property was free of any hindrance, thus they deserve a special mention. We loved the resort overall and are definitely going to stay here the next time we’re in Ranthambore.

Sawai Madhopur Lodge was a wonderful place to stay, the property has clearly been very careful maintained and updated to retain its 1930s character whilst not lacking at all in modern facilities. We loved the charming communal rooms and our garden view villa. But by far and away the most impressive aspect of our stay was the incredible care and level of service we received from every single member of staff. Each and every person we spoke with or who helped us were brilliant. That includes the housekeeping team, who went several extra miles to make our stay comfortable; the restaurant team, who were similarly proactively helpful and skilled throughout; the gate keeping staff, who were polite, friendly and attentive; the management team, who were always helpful and made time to assist us; the gardening staff and construction workers who were also always polite; and the team members we dealt with on the front desk who were always helpful, often proactively so (having items delivered to our room, and suggesting we see the local doctor for instance). I can't think of anywhere I've ever stayed where the staff seemed so genuinely concerned that guests had as enjoyable stay as possible.

Fit for a king (or literally the queen of England) we felt indulged by excellent coffee, personal attention from the chef, the gardener, and many staff who arranged amazing trips into the jungle and back and forth to Jaipur.

Had a very amazing and comfortable stay there. The staff was very polite and attentive specially Mr. Deepak, Mr. Niranjan and Mr. Rajendra from F&B service who enhanced our dining experience immensely. The rooms were very spacious with a great garden view. I would highly recommend it to someone who is looking for a luxurious and tranquil stay.
