Hotel Ishan - A Ganges Riverside Retreat by SALVUS

it is strongly recommended NOT TO SELECT THIS HOTEL. it will certainly ruin your mood and your vacation. It seems they are trying to manage an old building with immature and untrained staff. Rooms are small, furniture are broken, mattress are torned off. Switchboards are naked. Mismanagement all over the hotel. The management has made a joke about the hospitality industry. They are here just to make easy money from the clients. No value for commitments prior to the booking. They will accept all your requests before booking and will provide nothing. I personally stayed there with family and saw the horrible condition of the hotel room. I have gave Rs 100 to the manager to buy minor hardware items to fix the room furnitures.

I paid advance came all the way from Delhi and on arrival i am told the property is sold out. Without confirming they rented out the premium room booked by me to another party. Quite a horrible hotel. When will we get my refund? Each one gives a different version when advance is immediate u not refund. For u not booking we are not even asking for compensation. Simply refund the amount of 25%When will ppl refund?

Decent hotel in the middle of Rishikesh, the views here are priceless no doubt. Rooms are quite nice, service is also good. The hotel has a very cute cafe inside with a soothing vibe, just loved it.. I have spent mostly all my time there.. They also do have spa but I didn’t get a chance to try the service.. The hotel is located very close to the market o it’s a plus point. Also yes they have JACUZZI WITH BREATHING VIEWS at the rooftop.. a win win!

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We stayed in rooms 115 and 116 and would highly recommend them for the views over the river from the balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Deepshikha, Rahul, Anand and Arun. The hotel has an on-site restaurant. We didn't really enjoy the breakfast options, but lunch and dinner were delicious. The location was good. Lots of little market shops around. Unfortunately the closest bridge across the river was closed/under construction when we were there, but you can take a water taxi

The hotel’s ambiance perfectly complements the spiritual and serene vibe of Rishikesh. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with stunning views of the Ganges and surrounding. Location-wise, it’s ideally situated close to Laxman Jhula, making it convenient for exploring the main attractions while still offering peace and quiet. If you’re looking for a stay where you feel truly cared for, Hotel Ishaan is the place to be. Highly recommended!
