Unfortunately, the stay was a terrible one for both my wife and Me. The first room the hotel staff showed was not only dirty but ill-maintained. We subsequently checked into the fourth room which was marginally better. But the room was damp with green patches on the wall, the shower & flush not properly functional, the bed sheets had to be changed couple of times, the chairs arm-rests were shaking, half the plugs in the room were not working or not well fitted and the bed itself was very uncomfortable. And if this were not enough, there was cockroach found in the food �� not once but twice�� More over when we complained of the same to the management, they were indifferent to it. Especially the hotel manager Ms. Amrita was completely indifferent about it. She behaved as if it was an everyday affair. I guess this hotel is supposed to be a 3-star hotel�� and had a recommendation from VERY DISTURBING EXPERIENCE FOR US

Bath room was hoorible.Due to pillar structure inside the bathroom, it was difficult to enter the toilet

The experience was not so exciting but overall it was a manageable stay. The property could have been better in terms of the quality but I was satisfied with the service and food quality. The location was fascinating and staff was helpful.

Location: Couldn't get more perfect. Located right in the hub of the town of Shillong, thereby everything is within a conveniently peripheral distance of the hotel. Hygiene: Definitely needs to work on this aspect. Musty bedsheets, stained commode, dusty armoire. Service: Excellent. Beginning from extremely friendly and professional reception staff to the housekeeping guys, very customer friendly! Dining: The restaurant "Unicorn" rocks! Each dish, regardless of the cuisine-Indian, Tibetan, Continental-all have their distinct flavours intact. Reasonable rates.

This hotel is having excellent site in Police Bazar, Shillong which is the heart of the city. I stayed in this hotel on my Honeymoon in April, 1995 and how I liked this hotel can be just imagined from my visit on this Christmas. The Staff is Too Good and friendly and the Food (sply Vegeterian one) is excellent that you can feel like at home away home.
