Best view, super service, very expensive. Stayed there for a weeding.. Lot of running around tobe done, with 2 party grounds on 2 different levels without elevator.

I had a very average experience here. The place has been converted to a hotel from a 100+ year old palace overlooking an amazing view of Fateh Sagar Lake, but leaving the grandeur aside, the interiors seemed a bit too congested. The bathrooms are tiny, and the toilet didn't flush well. They didn't replace the empty toiletries during our stay. Not to say the place is bad or the service is bad (the staff is actually very respectful and courteous), but it was nothing extraordinary, especially considering the price. I've had a much better experience at the Lalit Mumbai compared to this place. And probably the worst part is the food-it really is below average; the management should probably pay some attention to this. I cannot recommend this hotel. Again, not an uncomfortable stay for sure, but again nothing too delightful either.

We visited Udaipur and stayed in this property for 2 nights in Dec 23. I had booked two rooms through the management after checking their own website. The hotel is situated in a picturesque landscape overlooking the lake. However, the hotel was charging a premium for Lakeview rooms, so we settled for city view. The checkin process was smooth, however they did not deliver the baggage till we did not remind the staff. The rooms are large but the bathrooms are TINY. In our particular case, the flush in the second room was non-functional and required 2 hours before it became clear. In our room, the water cistern was repeatedly clogged and we had to call housekeeping on 2 occasions for rectification. The shower cubicle was also taking time for the water to drain. Both these issues were major irritants and letdowns. We also had to remind housekeeping and reception three times before they tidied up the room - even though we had hung the 'Tidy Room' tag outside. The breakfast was complimentary after we negotiated but to be honest, the menu was nowhere close to five star standards. On the plus side, the hotel has excellent gardens and a fantastic view and as it is located centrally, can be accessible to any of the tourist attractions. The staff was courteous and helpful but simply failed to resolve/ respond in quick time. Overall a poor stay and nowhere close to even Four Star standards!! A miss is strongly recommended especially as Udaipur is densely populated with five star and better properties!!

Excellent overall experience. Hotel is well maintained heritage hotel and staff is also quite trained and professional. Do try to take Lake Facing room if possible as that experience is a life time great experience. Food quality in breakfast buffet was also excellent. There is a puppet show at 7pm everyday which lasts for around 15 minutes.. must try for kids. The quality of evening cultural event was also excellent in Aangan restaurant within hotel premises which happens at 8-10pm every night. Don't forget to book your table upfront though. Overall 5 star experience.

I recently stayed at lalit and had an excellent experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept soundly each night. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary water bottles and coffee maker in the room. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The hotel's location was also excellent, with easy access to public transportation and many nearby attractions. Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel was quiet and peaceful, making it easy to relax and unwind. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable
