Mountain Shadows Resorts

Stayed at this resort. Undoubtedly best location but its too pricey for what it is. We stayed at luxury villa but rooms weren't that extraordinary. I could say rooms were clean spacious but weren't worth paying 26k. Swimming pool was really nice but unfortunately it wasn't maintained as claimed in the website. People were just getting into the pool with night dresses and i saw a women in the pool with her jersey jacket on. There were staff at the pool but they didn't even bother stop them. Food was adequate and service at resort was good. But overall its not worth paying 26k. Considering the beautiful view and location somewhere 16 to 18k would be max. I am never going back here

Beautiful location with amazing rooms and the views. You can walk around or cycle too. Golf cart is available to ferry you within the property. The 3 km approach road is unpaved but we were informed in advance, so were prepared for it. Rooms are well-maintained and the balcony gives a private space to enjoy. The chef and service staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed the evening entertainment, especially the violin performance! However, the front office team needs to improve and be more attentive.

Property is very very good, Team is very very good. But all go to toss, when the food is not good... We had been there for 2 nights with a group of 30 members including infant. Being vegetarian, Veg option is very limited, and food taste is below average.... Breakfast- bad Lunch - even bad Dinner - very bad. Humble request to the management, kindly consider this as a serious issue and please try to sort this.... Property has Games for kids, we all enjoyed most of our time there with kids. Pool is good. Rooms are good. Rooms service n house keeping is fast.

Excellent resort in the midst of Nature. International level services and views. The banasura sagar dam views are excellent and the water is very clean. The play area is also excellent - with a big area for kids to play. Activities for adults are also available. The evening High tea is excellent. The breakfast and dinner spread is excellent. Once you are in the resort, you don't need to step out of it and can enjoy the best of Wayanad by staying here.
